The mission of the Adelphi University Exhibitions Program is to bring visual arts to the Adelphi community and all visitors to the campus. We strive to present distinctive, refreshing, enriching and scholarly exhibits.
In any given year, the Exhibitions Program showcases 20-30 exhibitions by students, faculty, emerging and established artists, along with several visiting artist lectures organized by the Department of Art and Art History.
Located throughout the campus the galleries include the Ruth S. Harley University Center Gallery, the galleries at the Performing Arts Center, the Swirbul Library Gallery and the Manhattan Center galleries.
With every museum-quality installation, the Galleries stimulate active learning and critical thinking by bringing original works of art to the public.
